The BOXTON Team

Jakob Tolstrup-Møller is the founder, principal shareholder and Managing Director. A graduate from the AP Moller Shipping School, Jakob has been actively involved in the shipping industry for more than 35 years in the USA, Europe and Asia before settling in Norway. His experience includes start-up business to Global Head of Containers at Clarksons PLC and Director of Containers at Zodiac Group.

Jan M. Torlei, Director Finance, is a finance professional with more than 40 years experience from asset and corporate finance, structured finance and investment/asset management. A substantial part of his career has involved arranging finance for ships and aircraft as an independent as well as working for major organisations – including a DNB subsidiary and Clarksons (Director, Asset & Corporate Finance in the Oslo office). Jan holds degrees from two UK universities; BSc Management Sciences (Manchester) and MSc Decision Analysis (Bath). The early years of his career were spent in Manchester and London.

Graeme Murray, Director Projects. Graeme is a veteran shipbroker who spent 40 years with Clarksons. His experience includes short-sea and deep-sea dry bulk and container chartering as well as sale & purchase in multiple sectors. While at Clarksons, Graeme built container chartering from scratch and headed up the global container chartering teams for a period of 20 years. He has an extensive network of contacts in all key markets – Europe, the Americas and Asia.
